- Final exam notes: This semester we covered sections 1-26, an alternative treatment of 27 in class, 29-35, 37-82, 85. Of particular import to the final exam will be sections 1-26, the uniqueness of analytic functions, 29-34, 37-81. Section 85 is fair game for extra credit problems.
- Test 2 notes: The primary focus of this test was sections 34, 37-59 of the text, as well as ideas and techniques developed in lecture.
- Here are a bunch more proofs of the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra using ideas from Complex Analysis. Interestingly enough, I know of no proof of the Fundamental Theorem of Algebra that doesn't require either complex analysis or topology, i.e., using only techniques from algebra.
- Test 1 Notes: The test covered all sections listed below up to section 33.
- This is where I will post timely announcements about the course.
- Homework is due at the beginning of class on the assigned date.
